Bogbrew Stew B4 by caninjalawyer

Format: Commander

Commander: Ashnod the Uncaring

Bracket: 4

Deck overview

This is a Grixis combo deck helmed by Ashnod the Uncaring, built around a single explosive goal: assemble the "Bog Brew" - Bubbling Cauldron + Festering Newt + a recursion engine - and fire it in one turn to drain every opponent out. Ashnod's ability to copy any artifact/creature activated ability that costs a sacrifice doubles the Cauldron's drain, and he also amplifies Goblin Engineer, Goblin Welder, and Emry, Lurker of the Loch. The primary win is infinite mana via Basalt Monolith + Rings of Brighthearth or Isochron Scepter + Dramatic Reversal, then looping Newt through the Cauldron for infinite life loss, accelerated by Vito, Thorn of the Dusk Rose, Sanguine Bond, and Mayhem Devil. A dense tutor suite and a near-cEDH interaction package back the one-turn kill.
