You lose a life, you lose a life! by Thorru

Format: Commander

Commander: Liesa, Shroud of Dusk

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This Orzhov lifegain-control deck turns its life total into a weapon. The primary plan is to build an early life buffer with Soul Warden, Serra Ascendant, and Righteous Valkyrie, then assemble an infinite drain loop from Exquisite Blood or Bloodthirsty Conqueror with a payoff such as Sanguine Bond, Vito, or Enduring Tenacity. Liesa, Shroud of Dusk taxes every spell, gains life as a lifelink attacker, and accelerates the drain. Secondary paths are Aetherflux Reservoir life-burst kills, Ajani/Sorin activations, and commander beats. There is no hidden commander. The deck is resilient thanks to redundant payoffs, but it leans on a small set of true loop enablers, so tutors and protection decide how smoothly it closes.
