Deck overview

This deck is a Naya aggro-midrange strategy led by Toph, the First Metalbender. It focuses on turning lands and nontoken artifacts into resilient, recursive creature threats through the earthbend mechanic. The deck ramps aggressively in the opening turns, deploying Toph on Turn 3 or 4 to begin animating lands that return to the battlefield if removed. It then transitions into mid-game pressure with powerful combat enablers like Bumi, Unleashed, The Boulder, Ready to Rumble, and traditional landfall payoffs like Rampaging Baloths and Avenger of Zendikar. While the strategy features excellent built-in board wipe resilience on its animated lands, it remains vulnerable to targeted removal on key enablers and lacks deep reactive interaction or fast combo finishes, relying on honest combat damage across multiple attack phases to secure victory.
