This Golgari deck leverages The Serpent Society to turn cheap deathtouch creatures into an asymmetric board control engine. By combining deathtouch blockers and token generators like Ophiomancer with the commander's sacrifice trigger, the deck forces opponents to sacrifice their nontoken creatures whenever your deathtouch creatures die. The commander protects itself with a punishing ward cost of five poison counters, heavily deterring single-target removal. Acceleration from two-mana ramp spells allows the deck to deploy its engine early. Card draw engines such as Moldervine Reclamation and Meren of Clan Nel Toth replenish resources, while Poison-Tip Archer and deathtouch combat damage close out the game over several turns. While vulnerable to mass exile sweepers and lacking fast combo finishes, the deck excels at grinding out creature-based strategies through relentless attrition.
