Deck overview

This deck is a high-power Sultai combo-midrange build that leverages Zaxara, the Exemplary as both a ramp engine and an infinite mana outlet. By accelerating with low-cost dorks and rocks, the deck deploys Zaxara on Turn 3 and looks to attach Freed from the Real or Pemmin's Aura on Turn 4. Once enchanted, Zaxara generates infinite colored mana, which is immediately channeled into game-ending X-spells such as Torment of Hailfire, Exsanguinate, Walking Ballista, or Finale of Devastation. The list backs up this proactive combo with a dense, format-ceiling interaction suite featuring free counterspells like Fierce Guardianship and Force of Will alongside efficient removal. Secondary infinite mana engines with Kinnan, Bonder Prodigy and Basalt Monolith ensure that the deck can close out games even if the commander is removed.
