Deck overview

This deck is a high-synergy Naya Cat kindred deck led by Jetmir, Nexus of Revels. The game plan focuses on curving out with efficient low-mana Cats and token generators like Ocelot Pride, Leonin Warleader, Ajani, Nacatl Pariah, and Arahbo, the First Fang. Once the battlefield contains a critical mass of creatures, casting Jetmir, Nexus of Revels grants devastating combat buffs, giving the entire board increased power, vigilance, trample, and double strike. The deck defends its board using an extensive suite of instant protection spells including Heroic Intervention, Teferi's Protection, and Dawn's Truce. Secondary engines like Aura Shards and Marisi, Breaker of the Coil suppress opposing utility permanents and force advantageous combats. It reliably creates a lethal table clock by Turn 5 and eliminates the final opponent by Turn 6.
