Deck overview

This deck is a five-color combo and spellslinger deck centered on the 'prepare' mechanic and spell replication. Commanded by Codie, Ravenous Codex, the deck uses low-cost ramp and five-color fixing to deploy creatures that enter the battlefield prepared. Once established, it duplicates high-impact prepared spells—such as Emeritus of Ideation // Ancestral Recall, Emeritus of Woe // Demonic Tutor, and Blazing Firesinger // Seething Song—to generate overwhelming card advantage and mana velocity. The primary win condition revolves around Displacer Kitten blinking creatures that enter prepared, forming an infinite mana, storm, and draw loop that finishes the table in a single turn via Professor Onyx Magecraft triggers or a lethal Stensian Sanguinist // Exsanguinate. Even without Codie, the deck maintains full combo independence through redundant creature engines.
