Smaug the Impenetrable by EdoRoronoa

Format: Commander

Commander: Smaug the Impenetrable

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Built around Smaug the Impenetrable, this BR deck turns noncombat burn into an artifact mana engine. The primary plan is to cast Smaug early, protect him, then resolve a repeatable pinger such as Pyrohemia or Pestilence. Each activation damages Smaug and creates a Treasure that pays for the next activation; with Exquisite Blood or Bloodthirsty Conqueror the same loop gains life, and with Ojer Axonil the pings deal 4 to each opponent, draining the table in one turn. A secondary combat path uses Smaug's haste and indestructible 8/7 body, boosted by Reaver Cleaver or Cranial Plating, for commander damage. The deck is explosive and redundant in pings, but depends heavily on Smaug staying on the battlefield.
