Red's Welcome by Psyga315

Format: Commander

Commander: Etali, Primal Storm

Bracket: 2

Deck overview

This mono-red deck is built around the explosive value engine of Etali, Primal Storm, aiming to cast it, give it haste, and attack repeatedly to exile and cast spells from opponents' libraries for free. The list leans into a dragon tribal subtheme with cost reducers like Dragonlord's Servant and Dragonspeaker Shaman, alongside a suite of burn spells and pinger creatures (Guttersnipe, Firebrand Archer) that profit from the free spells Etali generates. The primary win condition is combat damage through large dragons and Etali's repeated attacks, with secondary payoff from Hellkite Tyrant and Knuckles the Echidna (artifact-based alternate wins, though unreliable). The deck is linear and heavily dependent on the commander's attack trigger to generate card advantage; without a haste enabler, Etali must survive a full turn cycle before it can produce value.
