Deck overview

This Kynaios and Tiro of Meletis deck is a four-color Group Hug and Forced-Draw control build that turns resource abundance into lethal attrition. The early turns focus on ramping and establishing Kynaios and Tiro to accelerate mana and card flow. While symmetrical draw keeps opponents supplied with cards, the deck establishes defensive pillowfort barriers such as Ghostly Prison, Propaganda, and Crawlspace to deflect incoming combat pressure. In the mid-to-late game, the deck weaponizes opponents' inflated hands and card draws through punishers like Psychosis Crawler, Razorkin Needlehead, Scrawling Crawler, Iron Maiden, and Forced Fruition. Alternatively, it creates overwhelming token swarms using The Locust God and Xyris, the Writhing Storm. The primary direct win condition is Approach of the Second Sun, which the deck rapidly digs into and recasts using mass draw spells. With robust board wipes and flexible removal, the deck controls the table until its compounding draw triggers close the game.
