This Golgari deck uses a creature-swarm strategy that accelerates into Witherbloom, the Balancer. The commander provides affinity for creatures to all your instant and sorcery spells, turning expensive game-ending cards into efficient low-cost plays. Early turns focus on establishing a wide board using low-mana creatures, mana elves, and token generators such as Scute Swarm and Ferocious Pup. Once your creature count reaches 4 or 5, you cast your commander for as little as two colored mana. From there, you cast high-impact spells like In Garruk's Wake, Dregs of Sorrow, and Rishkar's Expertise for minimal mana to wipe opposing boards, draw fresh cards, and pump your army with Overcome or Root Manipulation.
