Deck overview

This mono-black deck harnesses Tinybones, Bauble Burglar to convert symmetrical discard effects into overwhelming card advantage and decisive board suppression. By curving an early commander into continuous hand-stripping engines like Bottomless Pit, Necrogen Mists, and Oppression, the deck rapidly empties opponents' hands. As opponents discard, Tinybones stores their spells in exile with stash counters, granting a massive extended hand that can be cast using mana of any type. Once opponents are forced into top-deck mode, the deck closes the game through cumulative rack triggers like Shrieking Affliction, Bandit's Talent, and Painful Quandary, direct burst life loss from Tinybones, Trinket Thief, and combat pressure from massive beaters like Tourach, Dread Cantor and The Haunt of Hightower. While vulnerable to early spot removal and enchantment wipes, proactive hand destruction naturally suppresses opposing interaction.
