Deck overview

This Abzan deck centers on Olag and Miau, New Friends, combining Zombie tribal synergies with self-mill and graveyard reanimation. Early turns focus on filling the graveyard with cards like Stitcher's Supplier, Mire Triton, and Skull Prophet while developing mana dorks. Once the commander enters the battlefield, every entering Zombie or Cat bolsters the team with +1/+1 counters, while attacking and utility-tapping cards like Cryptbreaker, Siege Zombie, and Zombie Trailblazer enable Olag's end-step drain. As the game develops, mass token generators such as Tormod, the Desecrator, The Necrobloom, and Army of the Damned flood the board, turning wide combat swings and end-step triggers into lethal multi-player life loss. Extensive recursion engines like Rot Hulk and Grave Researcher // Reanimate grant solid resilience against sweepers, allowing the deck to rebuild pressure and overwhelm opponents by Turn 8.
