Deck overview

This deck is a high-powered cEDH Sultai shell that pairs explosive fast mana with format-defining win conditions and interaction. Its primary victory route leverages Thassa's Oracle alongside Demonic Consultation or Tainted Pact to secure an instant, same-turn table win as early as Turn 2 or Turn 3. When navigating grindier matchups, the deck pivots into an asymmetric denial suite featuring Opposition Agent, Notion Thief, and Leyline of the Void, or resolves an early Ad Nauseam or Necropotence to sculpt a protected winning hand. The commander, Maralen, Fae Ascendant, provides incidental card advantage and serves as an infinite mana outlet for the secondary Food Chain loop with Misthollow Griffin or Eternal Scourge, repeatedly casting and sacrificing Maralen to exile all opponents' libraries. With an extensive suite of free countermagic, Veil of Summer, and split-second protection from Samut, Tyrant of Naktamun, the deck boasts immense resilience and speed.
