The 1/8 Octopus attacks, clashes with the defending player, and whenever you win you draw a card and may cast a spell from your hand with mana value 8 or less for free. The ninety-nine is built to win those clashes-average mana value 4.62, with top-of-library stacking from Scroll Rack, Soothsaying, and Spy Network-and to keep expensive haymakers in hand as payloads. Primary wins come from dumping Sheoldred, Whispering One, Hullbreaker Horror, Archfiend of Despair, and Shard of the Nightbringer ahead of curve, then closing through combat, doubled life-loss, and sea-monster beatdown under Serpent of Yawning Depths and Spawning Kraken.
