Deck overview

This deck is a high-velocity Boros Equipment aggro build commanded by Nahiri, Forged in Fury. The strategy revolves around deploying low-cost Equipment with built-in creature tokens—such as For Mirrodin, Living Weapon, and Job Select cards—to flood the battlefield with artifacts and attackers during the first three turns. This discounts Nahiri through affinity, enabling her to enter as early as Turn 4. When equipped creatures attack, Nahiri exiles cards from the top of the library and casts any revealed Equipment for free, rapidly snowballing board presence with high-impact pieces like Kaldra Compleat and Batterskull. The deck leverages equip cost reducers like Puresteel Paladin and Bruenor Battlehammer, double strike enablers, and extra combats from Hexplate Wallbreaker to close out the game through combat damage by Turn 7. The build maintains resilience through indestructible effects, excellent spot removal, and substantial card draw from combat triggers.
