Deck overview

This deck is a battlecruiser cheat-into-play strategy piloted by Nissa, Leyline Tamer. The game plan revolves around ramping through turns 1 to 4 with two-mana rocks and token generators, establishing color fixing across all four non-green colors. On Turn 6, the deck deploys Nissa and triggers her landfall ability to cheat devastating, high-cost creatures directly onto the battlefield. Payoffs like Archon of Cruelty, Avacyn, Angel of Hope, and Archfiend of Despair generate immediate card and board disparity. Backup cheat enablers like Mass Polymorph and Proteus Staff convert token fodder from cards like Lingering Souls into huge threats if the commander is removed. A robust suite of premium interaction and free protection ensures the board stays protected while giant flyers close the game out over two combat cycles.
