Deck overview

This is a tempo-burn Commander deck built around Ghyrson Starn, Kelermorph. The primary plan is to put a 1-damage pinger like Firebrand Archer or Kessig Flamebreather on the battlefield, then use Ghyrson's ability to turn every cheap noncreature spell into a 3-damage-for-1-pinger wave. The deck controls the board with instant-speed burn and a strong stack package. Niv-Mizzet, Parun is the top-end hidden finisher: with Curiosity, Ophidian Eye, or Tandem Lookout he draws cards while each draw pings, and Ghyrson triples the damage. There is no double-faced commander; Ghyrson is the sole commander. The deck is very fast but heavily dependent on keeping him alive.
