Deck overview

This is a Bant flicker-combo deck built around Derevi, Empyrial Tactician and Emiel the Blessed. The main line is simple: Emiel blinks Derevi, Derevi untaps a three-mana tapper, and that mana pays for the next blink, producing infinite enter-the-battlefield triggers. Those loops become a table kill through tap-outlets (Zuran Spellcaster, Thornwind Faeries) or through extra mana into Walking Ballista and +1/+1 counters. A second, commander-free line is Emiel the Blessed plus Peregrine Drake for infinite mana. Combat is the backup, with Finale of Devastation, Moonshaker Cavalry, and Akroma's Memorial as closers. Derevi is uniquely cheap to recast-her command-zone ability puts her onto the battlefield for a flat {1}{G}{W}{U}-and her ETB immediately untaps a mana source, so she is both combo piece and ritual. The 99 backs her with creature tutors, ETB doublers, and a modest protection suite, while raw card draw stays thin.
