Format: Commander

Commander: Sephiroth, Fabled SOLDIER // Sephiroth, One-Winged Angel

Bracket: 4

Deck overview

This mono-black aristocrats deck uses Sephiroth, Fabled SOLDIER to turn creature deaths into card draw and incremental drain, then transforms into Sephiroth, One-Winged Angel for a permanent emblem that doubles every death trigger. You flood the board with cheap tokens from Bitterblossom, Dreadhorde Invasion, Endrek Sahr and Grave Titan, sacrifice them to Ashnod's Altar and Phyrexian Tower, and drain opponents with Zulaport Cutthroat, Bastion of Remembrance and Ayara. Redundant Sanguine Bond effects (Sanguine Bond, Vito, Enduring Tenacity, South Wind Avatar) pair with Exquisite Blood and Bloodthirsty Conqueror to create infinite life-loss loops. The Sanguine suite acts as the hidden commander.
