King of Elves by Valkyrion

Format: Commander

Commander: Thranduil, the Elvenking

Bracket: 4

Deck overview

Thranduil, the Elvenking is a Sultai elfball commander who turns the graveyard into a second hand: every Elf activated ability in the yard is available to him, and each legendary Elf entering draws two cards. The primary plan is to ramp with Elf druids, stock the graveyard through Silvan Rally and the commander's own discard, then use Thranduil's stolen abilities to generate huge mana and finish with Craterhoof Behemoth or repeated Ezuri overruns. Secondary paths are token generation from landfall and Lathril, plus combo wins from Devoted Druid + Immaculate Magistrate, Umbral Mantle on a large dork, or Imperious Perfect + Intruder Alarm. Thranduil the Strategist acts as a hidden commander, providing mana and landfall tokens.
