THE ASTONISHING ANT-MAN by user1376026

Format: Commander

Commander: The Astonishing Ant-Man

Bracket: 4

Deck overview

This is a Simic counter-token deck built around The Astonishing Ant-Man as the primary commander: card draw triggers +1/+1 counters, and those counters quickly become Insect-token armies via his activated ability. A dense draw package, counter-doubling effects, and token multiplication (Adrix and Nev, Iridescent Hornbeetle) create a wide board that wins with Herald of Secret Streams or Craterhoof Behemoth beats. The second face/backup commander Ant-Man, Colony Commander doubles as a mid-game engine, while Ezuri, Claw of Progress effectively acts as a lieutenant commander. Simic Ascendancy supplies a non-combat alternate win. The deck is resilient to removal through protection spells and can present lethal attacks by turns six or seven with a good but not isolated draw.
