Deck overview

This mono-green deck is led by Ruxa, Patient Professor and executes a dedicated 'vanilla creature' aggro strategy. It uses low-cost mana dorks and land ramp to quickly establish over-statted creatures with no abilities, such as Kalonian Tusker, Leatherback Baloth, and Gigantosaurus. Once Ruxa enters the battlefield, it grants these creatures +1/+1 and the ability to assign combat damage directly to opponents as though they were not blocked, effectively turning your entire board into unblockable beaters. Secondary token generators like Grizzly Fate, Fungal Sprouting, and Ezuri's Predation build wide boards that scale with anthems like Muraganda Petroglyphs, Unnatural Growth, and Overrun. The deck relies on raw combat math and unblockable pressure to close games, while utilizing power-based card draw such as Return of the Wildspeaker and Soul's Majesty to maintain gas across long multiplayer games.
