Deck overview

This deck is a Sultai Elf tribal midrange strategy led by Thranduil, the Elvenking. It combines classic green Elf mana ramp and token production with black and blue utility, graveyard interaction, and card draw. Early turns focus on establishing mana dorks like Priest of Titania, Arbor Elf, and Devoted Druid to accelerate into midgame engines. Thranduil, the Elvenking provides card filtering whenever legendary Elves enter the battlefield while inheriting activated abilities from Elves in the graveyard. The deck wins by going wide with Elf tokens and boosting them using anthem effects and mana-sink overrun abilities from Elvish Warmaster, Elvish Archdruid, and Haldir, Lórien Lieutenant. Asymmetric board control such as Raise the Palisade clears opposing blockers to ensure combat connections. Protection pieces like Asceticism and Inspiring Call help maintain board presence against opposing removal, allowing the deck to close out games across consecutive combat phases.
