Deck overview

This deck is a Boros midrange token strategy led by Quintorius, History Chaser. The game plan centers on triggering Quintorius's ability whenever cards leave the graveyard, rapidly constructing an army of 3/2 Spirit creature tokens. The deck facilitates this through looting, rummaging, reanimation, dredge, and exile effects. Value pieces like Squee, Goblin Nabob, Containment Construct, and Lion Sash ensure a steady stream of graveyard exits, simultaneously fueling hand advantage and board presence. Opponents face escalating pressure from enter-the-battlefield burn effects like Impact Tremors and Warleader's Call, while anthems like Cathars' Crusade and Quintorius's -4 loyalty ability convert Spirit swarms into lethal combat strikes. Defensive tools like Guardian of Faith and Selfless Spirit protect key pieces, while reanimation engines like Sun Titan and Sevinne's Reclamation provide robust mid-game recovery.
