Deck overview

This Jeskai artifact deck centers around Optimus Prime, Hero and a suite of legendary artifact creatures and equipment. The primary strategy develops mana through on-curve rocks and basic lands, deploys Optimus Prime converted via More Than Meets the Eye on Turn 5, and leverages bolster counters and trample to build an overwhelming combat presence by Turn 7. Secondary threats like Cyberdrive Awakener and Iron Man, Titan of Innovation provide alternate attack vectors by animating artifacts or tutoring equipment directly to the battlefield. The deck relies primarily on fair combat damage, lacking infinite loops or fast combo finishes. Its disruption suite features targeted exile effects such as Dispatch and efficient counters like Swan Song, but omits mass board wipes and stax pieces. While Optimus Prime, Hero naturally resists destruction by converting upon death, the deck remains vulnerable to exile-based sweepers and struggles with card draw velocity if its combat engines are suppressed.
