Deck overview

This deck is a high-power Gruul stompy build commanded by Raph & Mikey, Troublemakers. The strategy focuses on accelerating mana rapidly during the early turns to cast the 7-mana commander on turn 5. Because the commander possesses native haste and trample, it attacks immediately upon entering the battlefield. Each attack triggers a free polymorph effect from the library, putting massive game-ending creatures directly onto the battlefield tapped and attacking. With 40 creature cards in the 99, every trigger reliably uncovers a devastating threat, such as Craterhoof Behemoth, Twinflame Tyrant, Nyxbloom Ancient, or Old Gnawbone. The deck backs up this combat engine with power-based card draw, secondary cheat enablers like Natural Order and Defense of the Heart, and targeted protection spells. While susceptible to mass board sweepers, the deck applies overwhelming combat pressure that eliminates three opponents over two response cycles by turn 7.
