#12 Izzet Burn by OddCarrot

Format: Commander

Commander: Niv-Mizzet, Visionary

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Niv-Mizzet, Visionary turns any noncombat damage dealt to opponents into explosive card draw with no maximum hand size. The deck uses low-mana pingers and spellslinger burn pieces to trigger mass draws, chaining cantrips and ritual mana into larger damage bursts. It closes games by assembling infinite damage-draw loops using Curiosity or Tandem Lookout attached to Niv-Mizzet, Parun or Niv-Mizzet, the Firemind. Alternatively, it wins through massive spell storm turns boosted by damage doublers like Solphim, Mayhem Dominus and Twinflame Tyrant alongside burn finishers like Price of Progress and Flame Rift.
