AND HIS NAME IS JOHN “CECIL” by mckinneyisaac

Format: Commander

Commander: Cecil, Dark Knight // Cecil, Redeemed Paladin

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Orzhov life-total deck that treats life as a resource and a weapon. The primary plan is to pay life for card draw, mana, and pumps, then convert that investment into a kill with life exchange (Phyrexian Unlife + Repay in Kind/Magus of the Mirror/Axis of Mortality) or with lifegain drain (Sanguine Bond/Enduring Tenacity plus Tainted Sigil/Children of Korlis/Gray Merchant). Cecil's front face helps lower your life total and transforms into the back face, whose lifelink and team-indestructible attack trigger protect the board. K'rrik, Son of Yawgmoth is a hidden commander, turning life into black mana and accelerating every line. Secondary paths include Astarion end-step drain and Primal Odin saga combat kills.
