Deck overview

This deck is a high-velocity mono-white Equipment Voltron list commanded by Cloud, Midgar Mercenary. Cloud provides unmatched consistency by tutoring any Equipment directly to hand on entry, while doubling all triggered abilities from itself and attached Equipment. The strategy focuses on curving Cloud out on Turn 2, finding key tools like Hammer of Nazahn, Colossus Hammer, or Mask of Memory, and cheating equip costs with cards like Forge Anew and Ardenn, Intrepid Archaeologist. Cloud attacks as early as Turn 4 for overwhelming commander damage, doubling triggers to strip resources with Sword of Feast and Famine or generate extra combats with Genji Glove. Robust protection spells including Flawless Maneuver, Dawn's Truce, and Flare of Fortitude shield the board against sweepers and removal. The deck consistently closes out games across three combat steps while maintaining strong card flow and interaction.
