Format: Commander

Commander: Vivi Ornitier

Bracket: 4

Deck overview

Vivi Ornitier commands an explosive Izzet spellslinger deck that converts noncreature spells into teamwide burn and massive mana. Casting cheap cantrips, cost reducers, and rituals grows Vivi while chipping away at opponent life totals. Once Vivi accumulates high power, his zero-mana ability generates huge bursts of mana to cast game-ending finishers like Crackle with Power or Jaya's Immolating Inferno. The deck also features a compact combo package with Niv-Mizzet, Parun, Niv-Mizzet, Visionary, Curiosity, Ophidian Eye, and Tandem Lookout to draw through the library and burn the table. Heavy counterspell suites and free interaction safeguard every storm sequence.
