Deck overview

This deck is an aristocrats and lifegain-drain strategy led by Vito, Thorn of the Dusk Rose, backed by a cohesive Vampire tribal shell. Its primary objective is assembling a two-card infinite combo between Vito and Exquisite Blood or Bloodthirsty Conqueror. Gaining any amount of life triggers Vito to force an opponent to lose that much life, which in turn triggers Exquisite Blood to gain life, repeating the loop to eliminate the entire table in a single turn. The deck accelerates its mana curve using efficient two-mana rocks and rituals like Dark Ritual and Culling the Weak, enabling a Turn 3 commander deployment and a Turn 4–5 combo assembly. Card velocity is sustained through powerful black draw engines including Necropotence, Black Market Connections, and Champion of Dusk. The removal suite handles creatures, sweepers, and enchantments effectively, though mono-black coverage gaps against artifacts and stack interaction leave the combo vulnerable to well-timed disruption.
