Deck overview

This Grixis deck focuses on Villain tribal synergies, discard outlets, and graveyard recursion led by Norman Osborn // Green Goblin. The early game focuses on deploying Norman Osborn, attacking unblocked to filter cards via connive, and transforming into Green Goblin on Turn 4. Once transformed, Green Goblin grants cost reduction to graveyard casts and gives discarded nonland cards mayhem, allowing you to cast discarded threats immediately at a discount. In the mid game, the deck expands its board with evasive Villains, generates card advantage through draw engines like Leader, Super-Genius and Psychic Frog, and suppresses opposing creature boards with Archfiend of Ifnir. The game ends between Turns 6 and 8 by overwhelming opponents with anthem-buffed flying and menace attackers, backed by mass recursion like Behold the Sinister Six!.
