Deck overview

This mono-green deck is commanded by Edgar, Moonlit Sovereign, focusing on +1/+1 counters, token generation, and combat dominance. By utilizing flash and passing main phases without casting spells, the deck triggers Edgar's passive counter accumulation while holding mana open for reactive interaction, flash threats, or Edgar's team-wide pump ability. Dense 1-mana ramp establishes 4 to 5 mana by Turn 4, enabling rapid deployment of scaling engines such as Court of Garenbrig, Innkeeper's Talent, and Defiler of Vigor. A robust suite of 1- and 2-mana protective spells shields critical threats from removal and sweepers. The deck builds toward a Turn 6 critical onset with explosive finishers like Avenger of Zendikar, Vorinclex, Monstrous Raider, and Beastmaster Ascension, systematically eliminating the table via overwhelming trampling combat damage by Turn 8.
