Deck overview

This deck is a Jund -1/-1 counter aristocrats engine commanded by Auntie Ool, Cursewretch. It leverages the commander's ability to draw cards when counters are placed on friendly creatures and drain opponents when placed on theirs. Early turns focus on establishing mana ramp into Auntie Ool, followed by key token engines like Nest of Scarabs and Hapatra, Vizier of Poisons. Mid-game turns deploy mass-wither effects and attrition pieces such as Carnifex Demon and Kulrath Knight, locking down opposing boards while Obelisk Spider, Blood Artist, and All Will Be One translate counter placement into table-wide life loss. While vulnerable to early creature sweepers and lacking instant-speed stack interaction, the deck generates immense card advantage through natural counter synergies and features resilient graveyard recursion to rebuild and drain the table out over two response cycles.
