Deck overview

Teval, the Balanced Scale plays a lands-and-graveyard midrange value game, using evasion attacks to mill lands, then returning them to the battlefield to trigger Field of the Dead, Scute Swarm, and Avenger of Zendikar. Every card leaving the graveyard creates a Zombie Druid, and Kheru Goldkeeper and Tortured Existence convert that same trigger into infinite Treasure, with Syr Konrad, the Grim as an outlet. Muldrotha, the Gravetide acts as a hidden commander, and a dense recursion package allows recovery, while Jarad, Golgari Lich Lord and Craterhoof Behemoth finish games through combat or sacrifice. The deck can win through its three-card combo or an overwhelming token attack.
