Deck overview

This Gruul deck blends spellslinger sequencing with combat-focused land animation under Toph, Hardheaded Teacher. The core game plan revolves around casting low-cost instants, sorceries, and Lessons to trigger earthbend, turning lands into hasty, growing attackers that return to the battlefield tapped if destroyed. Cheap ramp sets up Toph on Turn 3 or 4, followed by a flurry of fight spells and cantripping Lessons that control opposing boards while expanding your own army.
