Deck overview

This Esper Knight deck is built around Sidar Jabari of Zhalfir's eminence draw/discard and combat reanimation. The core plan is to deploy cheap Knights, attack to filter through the deck while discarding Knights, then return them from the graveyard on combat damage. Secondary paths include going wide with History of Benalia and Adeline, Resplendent Cathar, and grinding with Haakon, Stromgald Scourge, Syr Konrad, and Whip of Erebos. The commander is primarily an engine, not a finisher; his flying first strike makes him a reliable source of the recursion trigger.
