Deck overview

This Boros deck combines Dwarf kindred synergies with Equipment and artifact token generation. Led by Thorin, King of Durin's Folk, the deck aims to flood the board with low-cost Dwarf creatures in the early game. Once Thorin enters the battlefield, every subsequent Dwarf generates a Treasure token while Thorin passively buffs all other Dwarves by +1/+0 for each artifact token under your control. The strategy leverages Equipment such as Sword of Hearth and Home, Orcrist, Goblin-cleaver, and Leyline Axe to trigger enter-the-battlefield abilities, grant evasion, and push lethal commander and creature damage. The deck defends its board with efficient protective instants like Restoration Magic and Divine Resilience, while using selective board clear spells like Winnowing to break parity. It delivers dependable midgame pressure, closing games around turn 8.
