group hug by seavoice5

Format: Commander

Commander: Kynaios and Tiro of Meletis

Bracket: 4

Deck overview

Kynaios and Tiro are a political group-hug engine: they smooth everyone's mana and draw, while the deck's hidden commander Xyris turns all that extra card drawing into a swarm of Snakes. Secondary plans run Psychosis Crawler plus mass draw spells, or Laboratory Maniac after a large Minds Aglow/Sail into the West. The deck protects itself by not being threatening early - Noble Heritage, Orzhov Advokist, Gluntch, and The Second Doctor buy time - then bursts with token combat or a self-draw kill. Chaos/cheat effects like Show and Tell, Over the Top, and Thieves' Auction add unpredictable parity breaks. It is a slow value deck with no tutors or infinite combo; its wins come from accumulating small advantages.
