Deck overview

This deck is a high-velocity Izzet combat-cheat strategy commanded by Scarlet Witch, Chaotic Avenger. The central game plan focuses on powering out the commander ahead of curve using dense 0–1 CMC fast mana artifacts, setting up high-impact noncreature spells on top of the library with cards like Sensei's Divining Top, Scroll Rack, and Brainstorm, and connecting in combat to cast those spells without paying their mana costs. Once the combat trigger resolves, the deck chains extra turns via Time Warp, Time Stretch, Expropriate, Beacon of Tomorrows, and Rise of the Eldrazi, or drops game-ending permanents like Omniscience. During these consecutive extra turns and additional combats from Aggravated Assault or Genji Glove, the deck finishes opponents with explosive paradox burn triggers from Passionate Archaeologist, Flaming Tyrannosaurus, and Thor, God of Thunder. A comprehensive suite of free countermagic and turn-silencing effects protects the combo from disruption.
