Deck overview

This mono-red list is an aggressive artifact-burn deck commanded by Jaws, Relentless Predator. The deck accelerates rapidly in the early game using an efficient suite of mana rocks and rituals, aiming to resolve Jaws on Turn 4. Thanks to innate haste and trample, Jaws immediately punches through blockers to create a dense stockpile of Blood tokens on hit. The deck then converts these tokens into lethal board-wide burn through Jaws's triggered ability, which deals 1 damage to each opponent whenever a noncreature artifact is sacrificed or destroyed. Damage amplifiers like Torbran, Thane of Red Fell, Solphim, Mayhem Dominus, and City on Fire scale these incremental pings into catastrophic table-wide bursts. While the deck boasts high speed and robust burst damage, its reliance on keeping Jaws on the battlefield and its limited access to enchantment removal represent noticeable operational hurdles against interactive pods.
