Commander: Lonis, Cryptozoologist

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Lonis, Cryptozoologist leads a Simic artifact-token engine designed to flood the battlefield with Clues whenever nontoken creatures enter play. The primary game plan converts rapid creature deployment and token doublers like Academy Manufactor and Peregrin Took into massive card draw and mana generation. The deck wins by executing an infinite loop with Shrieking Drake and Academy Manufactor to produce limitless Clues, Treasures, and stolen permanents from opposing libraries. Alternatively, it transforms mass Clue piles into lethal flying or 6/6 beaters using Cyberdrive Awakener, Rise and Shine, or Tangletrove Kelp, and seals victory with sweeping late-game spells like Doppelgang.
