Deck overview

This deck is a Rakdos tribal aggro strategy built around Madame Hydra. The primary objective is to cast low-cost Villain creature spells to trigger Madame Hydra's ability, flooding the board with 2/1 black Villain creature tokens that possess menace. The deck enhances this evasive swarm using tribal anthems such as The Masters of Evil, burn triggers from Crossbones, Malicious Mercenary and HYDRA Assault Robot, and equipment like HYDRA Disintegrator. The mana base is low to the ground with 28 lands, supported by basic landcyclers and cost reducers like Urza's Incubator and Baron Strucker, HYDRA Overlord. Interaction consists of single-target black removal spells and minor hand disruption, while card advantage is generated intermittently through conniving and sacrifice outlets. The deck aims to assemble its engine by Turn 5, apply severe combat pressure by Turn 7, and eliminate all three opponents through wide menace attacks by Turn 10.
