Ovika, Enigma Goliath

Format: Commander

Commander: Ovika, Enigma Goliath

Bracket: 2

Deck overview

Ovika, Enigma Goliath is an Izzet token-engine deck: it ramps with cheap artifacts, then uses Ovika's trigger to turn every noncreature spell into a burst of hasty 1/1 goblins equal to that spell's mana value. The list is built around high-MV convoke spells and the hidden commander Caetus, Sea Tyrant of Segovia, which gives all noncreature spells convoke and lets the goblins pay for the next wave. Wins come from critical-mass attacks with Shared Animosity, Obelisk of Urd, and City on Fire, often with Tetsuko making the small tokens unblockable; Impact Tremors and Goblin Bombardment provide an alternate ping finish, and Complete the Circuit/Surge to Victory can copy burn for reach. The deck is linear and explosive but depends heavily on Ovika and an artifact-heavy mana base.
