Deck overview

This mono-green deck uses Kura, the Boundless Sky as an engine hub to assemble game-winning land combinations. In the early game, cheap mana dorks and land-acceleration spells put Kura onto the battlefield ahead of schedule. The deck then uses sacrifice outlets or cloning effects to trigger Kura's death ability, tutoring three key lands directly to hand. The primary payoff is the Dark Depths and Thespian's Stage combo, which generates a 20/20 flying indestructible Marit Lage token at instant speed. Massive backup threats including Cultivator Colossus, Lumra, Bellow of the Woods, and colorless Eldrazi titans provide immense board pressure. Sylvan Safekeeper and Heroic Intervention protect critical permanents while Field of the Dead creates a resilient creature army. The deck plays a fast, high-impact midrange game that finishes opponents through combat damage across turns 5 and 6.
