Deck overview

This is a life-loss combos-and-cheat deck built around the "damage first, pay later" engine of Rakdos, Lord of Riots. The primary plan is to create an early, repeatable life-loss trigger, cast Rakdos on a turn where opponents have already been cut, then use the life they lose that turn to plummet the actual costs of ever shee of hulking colorless creatures and demons. The kill flows through a few distinct channels: an Ancestral Statue|Ancestral Statue loop paired with Bontu's Monument, Purphoros, God of the Forge or Terror of the Peaks; the "kill everything at once" circuit of Blightsteel Colossus plus Chandra's Ignition; and a crushing endgame of Havoc Festival/Archfiend of Despair pressure headed up by cast rate and discounting. Cheat effects such as Sneak Attack, Quicksilver Amulet, and Animate Dead give the deck strong backup routes when the commander is priced out.
