Commander: Be'lakor, the Dark Master

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Be'lakor, the Dark Master leads a Grixis Demon-tribal value deck that turns Demon enters-the-battlefield triggers into cards and direct damage. The main plan is to get Be'lakor onto the battlefield, then chain discounted Demons to refuel off his draw trigger and burn the table with his Lord of Torment trigger. Cost reducers like Herald of Slaanesh, Ancient Cellarspawn, and Herald's Horn are the engine that makes those chains affordable, while flicker effects such as Conjurer's Closet and Displace recycle Be'lakor himself. The single compact finisher is a kicked Rite of Replication aimed at Be'lakor, which generates a lethal pile of ETB burn triggers even after the legend rule trims the copies. Warstorm Surge, Reflections of Littjara, and Aspiring Champion provide secondary damage paths, and Rakdos Joins Up plus Victimize give a modest reanimation spine.
