Format: Commander

Commander: Kotis, the Fangkeeper

Bracket: 2

Deck overview

This is a Sultai value-midrange deck built around Kotis, the Fangkeeper turning combat damage into free spells. The plan is to make Kotis unblockable or huge, connect with opponents, exile deep chunks of their libraries, and cast every usable spell exiled. The 99 supports that with a heavy deathtouch package (Vraska Joins Up, Hooded Blightfang, The Serpent Society), a thick theft/reanimation suite (Sepulchral Primordial, Rakshasa Debaser, Vraska, the Silencer, Cauldron of Essence), and several ways to balloon Kotis's power such as Sita Varma, Masked Racer and Sazh Katzroy. There is no infinite combo; instead, the deck closes through overwhelming Kotis triggers, Grievous Wound life halving, large evasive attackers, and the alternate assassination win of Vraska the Unseen's ultimate.
