Deck overview

This deck is a four-color cascade engine helmed by Yidris, Maelstrom Wielder. It accelerates mana early using efficient dorks and rocks, lands Yidris on turn 3 or 4, and uses evasion equipment or auras to guarantee combat damage by turn 5. Once Yidris connects, every spell cast in the postcombat main phase cascades into additional free spells. This cascades into overwhelming threats like Apex Devastator and Maelstrom Wanderer, while payoffs like Passionate Archaeologist and Keeper of Secrets burn opponents for casting spells from exile. Chaos cards like Possibility Storm and Grip of Chaos derail opponents' targeted answers, while alternate engines like Imoti, Celebrant of Bounty ensure high-end velocity even if Yidris is answered.
